SPILL PALLETS, DRIP TRAYS AND SPILL BERMS

You must store liquid waste in a designated area with a proper secondary containment system, such as a spill pallet (bund), spill berm or drip tray. This system must hold at least 110% of the maximum volume of the largest container or tank. If storing multiple tanks, ensure the bund holds either 110% of the largest tank or 25% of the total volume—whichever is greater. For drums, the bund or tray must hold at least 25% of the total storage capacity. This prevents leaks or spills from contaminating the environment and helps meet compliance requirements.

Drip trays, spill pallets, and spill berms provide an easy to setup, complaint, safe way to prevent spills.
